Senator Ali Ndume aims to bridge the digital divide in Borno South by equipping its residents with essential communication tools. He has announced a plan to provide free Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards to 5,000 people and train 1,000 Point of Sale (POS) operators in the region. This initiative follows a meeting between Senator Ndume and MTN Nigeria’s management team in Maiduguri. The goal is to help communities recover from the effects of Boko Haram insurgency and connect them to modern communication technologies.
