dYdX Community Weighs in on $462K Compensation Plan for Chain Halt Losses

The dYdX community is reviewing a new compensation proposal aimed at providing reimbursement to traders impacted by a chain halt on October 10th. This plan outlines $462,097.79 in payouts distributed via USDC from the protocol’s Insurance Fund. The proposal was revealed through a post published on October 28th on the dYdX governance forum, following the review of 27 eligible claims by the support team. If the community approves, the Insurance Fund, valued at roughly $16.2 million, will cover all reimbursements.
