Rep. Khanna Proposes Resolution to Regulate Cryptocurrency Activities of Public Officials

U.S. Representative Ro Khanna, representing California, has introduced a resolution (H.Res.849) on October 31st proposing a ban on public officials profiting from cryptocurrency activities. The resolution also seeks to create regulatory frameworks that prevent conflicts of interest and foreign influence within the realm of digital assets. This proposal was submitted for review to the House Financial Services Committee, Government Oversight and Reform Committee, House Administration Committee, and Judiciary Committee.
