BNB Chain Aims for Faster Transactions with Fourier Hard Fork

BNB Chain has announced a hard fork called ‘Fourier’ for its opBNB testnet, aiming to improve transaction speeds by reducing block times to 250 milliseconds. This upgrade aims to double transaction efficiency and is expected to benefit DeFi applications and user experiences on the BNB ecosystem. The Fourier hard fork will be live on November 6th, with all node operators required to synchronize their software for this change.
