On November 1st, the Bitcoin price saw a surge in South Korea, achieving a significant Kimchi Premium of 4.56%. As per data from Upbit exchange at 12:00 AM KST, Bitcoin traded at 165.5 million KRW, representing a positive growth of 0.75% compared to the previous day. This price increase, however, was not uniform across all exchanges; on Binance, BTC reached 158.28 million KRW, resulting in a price difference of 8.3 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 4.56%. Ethereum (ETH) also demonstrated a strong performance with a Kimchi Premium of 4.67%. Other prominent altcoins also exhibited similar levels of premium: Solana (SOL) at 4.58%, XRP (XRP) at 4.61%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 4.67%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 4.57%. Notably, most top-ranking altcoins in the Korean market are currently trading with premiums between 4.5% and 4.7%.
