Japanese Payment Infrastructure Provider Teams Up with Avalanche to Launch Blockchain Platform

Japan’s largest payment infrastructure provider, TIS, has partnered with Ava Labs, developer of the Avalanche blockchain network, to launch a new blockchain-based platform. This venture aims to meet the growing demand for enterprise blockchain solutions by supporting the issuance, exchange, and management of stablecoins and tokenized assets under Japan’s Payment Services Act. Leveraging AvaLabs’ enterprise-focused infrastructure solution, AvaCloud, the Multi-Token Platform will provide enhanced security and performance for financial institutions in Japan.
