Bitcoin Sees 3.56% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market

On October 26th, Bitcoin trading on South Korea’s Upbit exchange saw a price jump of 0.35% to reach 166.29 million KRW, indicating a 3.56% Kimchi premium. Global exchange Binance listed Bitcoin at 160.58 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 5.71 million KRW and the aforementioned Kimchi Premium. This follows Ethereum (ETH) with a comparable premium of 3.61%, highlighting a consistent trend across leading altcoins. Solana (SOL), XRP (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB) also exhibited premiums within a similar range between 3.3% and 3.9%. These findings suggest that most top altcoins are currently experiencing a premium market valuation.
