XRP Holders Warned: Major Hack Results in $3 Million Loss

A recent high-profile hack has shed light on the risks associated with cryptocurrency wallets, resulting in a significant financial loss for an XRP holder. Blockchain researcher ZachXBT revealed that a US user lost $3.05 million (approximately 1.2 million XRP) after their Ellipal hardware wallet was compromised. The attacker reportedly transferred the stolen assets to the Tron network via Bridgers and then laundered them through Southeast Asia-based OTC channels known as Huione. Huione, recently sanctioned by the US for fraud and money laundering, has a history of facilitating illicit financial transactions.
