Cryptocurrency Plunges Amidst Investor Caution Over Economic Uncertainties

The cryptocurrency market is experiencing a significant downturn, marked by substantial withdrawals from Bitcoin ETFs and heightened investor risk aversion. A record withdrawal of $536.4 million occurred on Thursday from U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, the largest single-day outflow since August, affecting eight out of twelve funds. Notable withdrawals included $275.15 million from Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB, and $132 million from Fidelity’s FBTC. Other major investment firms also reported negative flows. This trend reflects a broader increase in investor caution as uncertainty around macroeconomic challenges persists.
