Bitcoin Kimchi Premium Reaches 7.34% in Korean Market on October 17

On October 17th, Bitcoin’s trading price on South Korea’s Upbit exchange reached 167.83 million KRW, a slight decline of 0.42% compared to the previous day. This translates to a Kimchi Premium of 7.34%. Meanwhile, on global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 156.36 million KRW, revealing a price gap of 11.47 million KRW. Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, showed a Kimchi Premium of 7.21%. Notably, other major altcoins also exhibited notable premiums: Solana (SOL) with 7.20%, XRP (XRP) at 7.28%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 7.59%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 7.93%. These top altcoin prices currently sit within a range of 7.2% to 7.9% with significant premiums in the Korean market.
