Crypto Contract Holdings Dip Following Market Downturn

Data from Coinglass shows a significant drop in cryptocurrency contract holdings following the October 11 market downturn, reaching their lowest levels in six months. This trend closely aligns with similar low holding levels observed back in mid-May of this year. Bitcoin’s coin-margined contracts saw a decrease from 741,500 on October 10th to 645,600. Ethereum’s contract holdings declined from 13,535,000 on the same date to 11,674,500. Solana saw its coin-margined contracts drop from 67,147,500 on October 10th to 52,779,300. BNB’s contract holdings also decreased, falling from 2,155,300 on October 10th to 1,784,000.
