Recent on-chain activity paints a picture of intense trading from large cryptocurrency investors, known as whales. Long-dormant wallets have been active, with significant transfers observed between exchanges and into cold storage. Notably, Ethereum (ETH) saw a record transfer of 10,009 ETH worth over $41 million, while another whale moved 5.01 million ASTER tokens ($7.65 million) in a single transaction. An even larger move involved the transfer of 11,885 BTC worth approximately $1.34 billion by the LuBianCom mining company, after being dormant for three years. This activity has been attracting attention from authorities as the US Department of Justice (DOJ) continues its investigation into the LuBian hack and associated assets.
