ODDO BHF Launches Stablecoin on Bit2Me for Euro-Backed Digital Transactions

French banking giant ODDO BHF has taken a major step into the world of crypto by launching its euro-backed stablecoin, EUROD. This move marks the bank’s official entry into the burgeoning digital asset space and seeks to bridge traditional finance with the emerging digital economy. EUROD will debut on Bit2Me, a Madrid-based cryptocurrency exchange backed by major Spanish banks and telecom giant Telefonica. The stablecoin is designed to offer a low-volatility digital euro for both retail users and institutions, adhering to EU’s MiCA regulation for compliance.
