LuBian-linked Wallet Moves Massive Bitcoin After DOJ Seizes $15B in Cryptocurrency

Less than a day after the US Department of Justice (DOJ) announced the seizure of $15 billion in crypto allegedly stolen from a Chinese Bitcoin mining operation, LuBian-linked wallets have sent nearly $1.3 billion worth of Bitcoin to new addresses. Blockchain analytics firm Lookonchain first flagged this movement following a three-year period of inactivity. The wallet, linked to the previously hacked LuBian platform, transferred 9,757 Bitcoin (BTC) totaling about $1.1 billion before another transfer sent an additional 2,129 BTC on Wednesday, for a total of 11,886 BTC worth approximately $1.3 billion today.
