U.S. Economic Strength Could Curb Further Fed Rate Cuts

Standard Chartered analysts Nicholas Chia and Steve Englander suggest that despite expected rate cuts for the remainder of 2025, chances of further reductions in 2026 may diminish if the U.S. economy stays strong. Their report reveals that a sustained U.S. economic resurgence could lead to increased dollar strength and Treasury yields over the longer term.
