Kalshi Raises $300 Million in Series D Funding, Expands Global Presence to 140 Countries

Financial technology startup Kalshi, based in the US, has secured a significant $300 million funding round that values the company at $5 billion. This massive investment signifies Kalshi’s rapid expansion and sets the stage for a global impact on prediction markets. The Series D round was led by major investors like Sequoia Capital and Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), alongside participation from Paradigm, CapitalG, Coinbase Ventures, General Catalyst, and Spark Capital. This latest funding follows a $185 million Series C investment in June, which valued the company at $2 billion.
