Dubai Issues Fines to 19 Crypto Firms for Operating Without Licenses

The Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) has issued hefty fines of up to AED 600,000 to 19 crypto firms, including TON DLT Foundation and LBank, for operating in the region without proper licensing. These penalties serve as a reminder that unlicensed cryptocurrency businesses face scrutiny and potential consequences within Dubai’s market.
