Bitcoin Shows 1.11% Kimchi Premium on Korean Market: Data Highlights October 7

On October 7th, the Bitcoin market showed a 1.11% Kimchi premium in South Korea’s Upbit exchange, according to trading data. As of 12:00 AM KST, BTC was priced at 177.57 million KRW, a 0.31% increase compared to the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC had a price of 175.62 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 1.95 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 1.11%. Ethereum (ETH), the dominant altcoin, saw a 1.01% Kimchi premium, while other major altcoins like Solana (SOL), XRP (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB) also displayed similar premiums in the 0.9% to 1.3% range.
