A substantial $405 million was wiped out from cryptocurrency trading over the past 24 hours, according to on-chain analytics. Short positions bore the brunt of this wave of liquidations, with losses exceeding $229.58 million. Long positions experienced more modest liquidations worth approximately $176.10 million. This dramatic price volatility reflects the ongoing turbulence within the crypto market.
