Bitcoin Shows 1.63% Kimchi Premium on South Korean Market

On October 5th, Bitcoin traded on the Upbit exchange in South Korea at 174.51 million KRW, marking a 0.60% increase from the previous day. This price point resulted in a 1.63% Kimchi Premium compared to global exchange Binance’s pricing of 171.71 million KRW. The trading dynamics between the two platforms show a difference of 2.8 million KRW. Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) displayed a 1.52% Kimchi Premium. Other prominent altcoins also exhibited notable premium trends: Solana (SOL) at 1.68%, XRP (XRP) at 1.65%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 1.56%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 1.41%. Most top-performing cryptocurrencies are currently trading with a premium between 1.4% to 1.7%.
