€500 Million Crypto Fraud Case Leads to Arrest of Portuguese Suspect in Bangkok

A €500 million cryptocurrency and credit card fraud case has resulted in the arrest of a Portuguese suspect in Bangkok. Pedro M., a 39-year-old man, was apprehended at a luxury shopping mall after a Portuguese journalist on holiday recognized him and alerted authorities. He had been evading arrest for years across Europe and Asia.
