Bitcoin Exhibits $1.01% Kimchi Premium in Korean Market on October 4

On October 4th, Bitcoin saw a trading price of 171.6 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, a 0.53% increase from the previous day. This corresponds to a 1.71 million KRW price gap and a Kimchi Premium of 1.01%. Global exchange Binance had Bitcoin priced at 169.89 million KRW, resulting in a 1.01% premium for Bitcoin on this platform. Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, showed a Kimchi Premium of 1.04%, with other notable altcoins exhibiting significant premiums: Solana (SOL) at 1.02%, XRP (XRP) at 0.95%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.84% and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 1.04%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium within the range of 0.8% to 1.0%.
