SEC Halts Cryptocurrency ETF Approvals Due to Government Shutdown

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is currently paused in its routine approval of cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) due to the ongoing U.S. government shutdown. This means many pending applications for ETFs tracking cryptocurrencies like Litecoin (LTC), Solana (SOL), and Ripple’s XRP, are on hold until the government reopens. !
