Global Stock Markets See Major Investment Surge Amid Record Tech Boom

Global stock markets experienced significant inflows last week, with data from EPFR showing a whopping net inflow of $26 billion. This influx was particularly strong in the technology sector, which saw record-breaking investments totaling $9.3 billion. Bond market also saw considerable growth with $19.9 billion in inflows. Meanwhile, cash injections into markets hit $20.8 billion. Gold investment accounted for $5.9 billion, while the cryptocurrency sector attracted $2.9 billion in investments. On the other side of the coin, U.S. Treasury bonds faced a notable outflow of $7.5 billion – marking one of the largest such outflows on record.
