Zodia Custody and SBI Holdings End Japan Joint Venture

Digital asset storage firm Zodia Custody has dissolved its joint venture with SBI Holdings Inc. in Japan after just two years. The decision comes as both companies reassess their priorities, according to Zodia’s leadership. 2023 saw the pair launch SBI Zodia Custody, aiming to become the first tier 1 crypto asset custodian in Japan, but that venture has been put on hold.
