Apple Operating Systems Exposed: High-Risk Vulnerability Enables Cyberattacks

A high-risk vulnerability affecting Apple’s iOS, iPadOS, and macOS operating systems has been identified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Network Security Threat and Vulnerability Information Sharing Platform (NVDB). This vulnerability allows malicious image files to exploit memory corruption within the ImageIO framework. This discovery comes as cyberattacks using this vulnerability are reportedly already in place.
