Bitcoin Sees 0.41% Premium on Korean Market, Ethereum Exceeds

On September 10th, Bitcoin’s price in the South Korean market showed a slight premium, reflecting the renowned ‘Kimchi Premium’. As of early morning KST, Bitcoin traded at approximately 155.71 million KRW on Upbit, a local exchange, down slightly by 0.22% from the previous day. Meanwhile, on Binance, BTC was valued at 155.08 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 630,000 KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 0.41%. Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, also displayed a notable premium of 0.44%. Other major cryptocurrencies like Solana (SOL), XRP (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB) exhibited premiums between 0.33% to 0.92%. These findings suggest that many prominent altcoins currently trade with a premium ranging from 0.3% to 0.9%.
