Ronin Blockchain Embraces Ethereum Layer 2 for Enhanced Performance

Ronin Network has successfully transitioned to an Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain using Optimism’s OP Stack. This strategic move delivers substantial performance upgrades, including up to 15 times faster transactions and enhanced security for users. The network also receives significant funding support, with grants exceeding $5-7 million from the Optimism Collective. As a result of this integration, Ronin is now part of the Superchain ecosystem, enabling seamless asset transfers and dApp connectivity with major players such as Base, Uniswap, and Optimism itself.
