Singapore Sees Significant Drop in Fraud & Cybercrime

Singapore’s security agencies have reported a positive trend, with the first half of 2025 showing decreased fraud and cybercrime activity. According to BlockBeats, losses from scams reduced by nearly 66 million SGD to reach approximately 456 million SGD, down significantly compared to the same period last year. Additionally, the total number of reported fraud cases declined by 21.5% to 22,476, a stark contrast to the 28,625 cases recorded in the previous half-year.
