Ethereum Network Sees Shift: Exit Queue Declines, Entry Queue Grows

Recent data from BlockBeats reveals a shift in Ethereum’s network activity as the number of ETH in the exit queue for its Proof-of-Stake (PoS) system has declined steadily over nine consecutive days, currently standing at 698,120 ETH, worth roughly $3 billion. This decline coincides with an increase in the entry queue, which now holds approximately 860,782 ETH, valued at around $3.7 billion, and is expected to take about two weeks and 23 hours to reach activation. This shift highlights contrasting market forces: some stakers may be withdrawing profits following Ethereum’s recent surge from its April lows, contributing to the outflow of ETH from the network. Conversely, new contributions from businesses like SharpLink Gaming and BitMine Immersion are driving ETH deposits into the network, leading to a growth in the entry queue.
