OKX Fined $2.6 Million for Operating in Netherlands Without Registration

Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has been fined $2.6 million by the Dutch National Bank (DNB) for providing services to Dutch customers without registering with regulators. This fine is related to a period when OKX operated in the Netherlands between July 2023 and August 2024, before the introduction of the MiCA framework.
