Binance Removes 14 Tokens from its Platform

Binance has initiated a delisting process for 14 cryptocurrency tokens, impacting the market and raising concerns among traders. The exchange’s latest move comes after a community-driven voting system determined which tokens would be removed. The decision to delist is based on factors like project activity, trading volume, security standards, regulatory compliance, and overall community sentiment. This process involved over 103,000 votes submitted by more than 24,000 users, reviewed for validity before final decisions were made. Binance has also implemented a halt in Trading Bot support for these tokens on April 16th. The delisting will take effect at 03:00 UTC on April 16, 2025, and while withdrawals remain open until June 9th, 2025, Binance may convert remaining holdings of the delisted tokens into stablecoins after this date. Users will be notified beforehand if this occurs.
