Ethereum Base Layer Rebounds as L2 Share Declines

Ethereum’s weekly active accounts have seen a notable resurgence, with the base layer (L1) regaining a larger share since June. This shift coincides with a decrease in activity on Ethereum’s second-layer solutions (L2). 74.86% of users now engage with L2, representing a slight decline from 87.49%. Despite this drop, L2s remain the primary venue for everyday transactions across the network.
