ROVR, a leading decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN), has launched the ROVR Open Dataset, a high-resolution multi-modal dataset designed to accelerate innovation in Spatial AI. The dataset was unveiled at the ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Summit North America and represents a significant step towards democratizing access to real-world data for the next generation of intelligent mobility solutions. The dataset captures human driving behavior and interacts with physical spaces in detail, enabling researchers and engineers to train next-generation AI models that understand and interact with the physical world. 1,500 fully synchronized clips are currently available, offering diverse coverage across urban, suburban, and highway environments, including real-time sensor data such as LiDAR point clouds, high-resolution RGB video from dashcams, IMU data for motion dynamics, and centimeter-level RTK GPS localization. This open release aims to foster collaboration, reproducibility, and transparency in the global AI and robotics communities.
