Lawsuit Demands Disclosure of Satoshi Nakamoto’s Identity: Could Bitcoin Be a Collaborative Effort?

A new legal action seeking the release of information related to Bitcoin’s creator, known as Satoshi Nakamoto, has shaken the cryptocurrency world. Attorney James Murphy, represented by MetaLawMan, is leading the charge against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) based on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). This lawsuit alleges that Nakamoto is not a single person, but rather a team of four developers who worked together to create Bitcoin. 2019 claims by DHS Special Agent Rana Saoud suggest that the agency met with these individuals and obtained knowledge of their motivations for creating Bitcoin. However, the DHS has remained silent on the identities involved, prompting Murphy’s legal challenge.
