Ethereum’s founder, Vitalik Buterin, has proposed significant structural changes that will reshape the network’s future. He outlined three key updates designed to enhance the network’s security and simplify client interactions. These proposals are expected to reduce Ethereum’s vulnerability to attacks while also fostering greater efficiency.
Buterin proposed three impactful changes: limiting transaction code bytes, imposing restrictions on ZK-EVM prover cycles (computational overhead), and strengthening the hard limit for EVM memory cost structure. These measures aim to address existing limitations in handling transaction workloads.
He explains that these restrictions will reduce Ethereum’s attack surface and make the network more predictable and secure. Buterin highlighted the importance of establishing
