Supra, a blockchain company pioneering MultiVM Layer-1 technology for Automatic DeFi (AutoFi), has announced the release of Hydrangea++, an advancement to its established Hydrangea consensus protocol. This new iteration pushes the boundaries of blockchain performance to directly tap into physical information transmission limits. Blockchain systems have traditionally operated under physical constraints instead of attempting to minimize them, a limitation that Hydrangea++ aims to address. Hydrangea++ builds upon Supra’s groundbreaking Hydrangea system, which established that faster two-round commits did not weaken fault tolerance. It introduces the Moonshot algorithm for enhanced resilience by integrating optimistic proposals directly into the protocol.
