Telegram Unveils Decentralized Privacy Network ‘Cocoon’ for AI Inference

Telegram founder Pavel Durov has announced the official launch of Cocoon, a new decentralized privacy network designed to power AI inference. The network utilizes three key components: clients, proxies, and work nodes. Clients initiate requests through proxies, paying fees upon completion, which then route these tasks to work nodes based on factors like device model and reputation. These nodes execute AI inferences within TEE-protected virtual machines while receiving payment from the proxies.
