Yearn Finance Suffers $9 Million Exploit in yETH Staking Attack

Decentralized finance platform Yearn Finance has been hit by a significant security breach, resulting in an estimated $9 million loss from the yETH stableswap pool. The exploit involved a vulnerability in the custom code used for the yETH pool, which allowed attackers to mint nearly unlimited amounts of yETH tokens. This manipulation led to a rapid draining of liquidity within the affected pool.
