Truther Launching New Payment Card in El Salvador by 2026

Cryptocurrency payment provider Truther is preparing to launch a new payment card in El Salvador on January 29, 2026. This venture, partnering with Visa, will enable users to spend USDT directly from their self-custodied wallets. Notably, the card does not necessitate preloading or custodial services and features a 2% currency conversion fee. Brazilian users will also benefit from exemption of IOF tax on transactions. Following its launch in El Salvador, the card will be accessible to all Truther users. Truther intends to expand its services to other countries such as Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, and Russia. The company also plans to integrate more local stablecoins into their self-custody wallets by early 2025.
