Nasdaq Aims for SEC Approval of Regulated Tokenized Stock Trading

Nasdaq is pushing ahead with a major upgrade: creating a regulated system to trade tokenized versions of publicly listed stocks directly on its platform. The exchange aims to secure SEC approval for this innovative framework, with the goal of launching as early as Q3 2026.
