Bitcoin’s weekend price rebound continues to gain momentum with the asset breaking past $86,000 earlier today after bottoming under $81,000 on Friday. Several altcoins are experiencing notable gains, including Ripple’s XRP and Monero (XMR). 2023 has been challenging for Bitcoin as it struggles to recover from its recent dip below $100,000, a milestone it decisively breached ten days ago. Despite the bearish trend of recent days, the bulls stepped in late last week and helped BTC stay above the $80,000 level. It saw further gains on Saturday and earlier today, reaching over $86,000. Bitcoin’s market cap now sits at $1.720 trillion, with a dominance of close to 57% on CG. XRP has regained the $2.00 mark after surging over 7%, while XMR and ZEC have emerged as top performers today, soaring 14% and 16% respectively to reach around $580 and $400, while other large-cap altcoins like BNB, SOL, DOGE, ADA, and BCH have also shown strong gains. The total crypto market cap has added over $60 billion in value today, exceeding the $3 trillion mark.
