MSCI Considers Excluding Crypto-Focused Companies from Indices

MSCI Inc., a major index provider, is exploring whether to remove firms with significant cryptocurrency holdings from its benchmark indices. The proposed exclusion, open for public feedback until December 31, 2025, could impact companies like MicroStrategy. A decision on the change is expected by January 15, 2026.
