Bitcoin Volatility Decreasing: Saylor Predicts Maturation and Enhanced Performance

Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy, believes Bitcoin’s volatility is decreasing even after recent market crashes wiped out 2023 gains. He attributes this to the asset’s maturity, predicting a decline in volatility around 5% every few years. “Bitcoin is grinding towards being one and a half times as volatile as the S&P 500 and offering one and a half times better performance,” he said. This sentiment comes after Bitcoin briefly dipped below $100K this week, but has since recovered to trade at $90,675.23. Despite this recovery, Bitcoin is down over 1% year-over-year, and nearly 28% from its all-time high of $126,198.07.
