SEC Chair Paul Atkins has announced a new rulebook specifically designed to clarify regulations for digital assets. This initiative aims to bring greater consistency and reduce the ambiguity surrounding blockchain technologies, aligning them with existing regulatory frameworks. The rulebook’s key changes include a four-fold asset taxonomy: commodities, collectibles, tools, and tokenized securities.
