Bitcoin Kimchi Premium Reaches 3.66%, Outpacing Ethereum

Bitcoin exhibited a notable kimchi premium in the Korean market on November 17th, reaching 3.66%. This metric was evident at around 12:00 AM KST when Bitcoin’s price on Upbit traded at 143.43 million KRW, showing a dip of 0.58% compared to the previous day. On Binance, Bitcoin prices sat at 138.36 million KRW, reflecting a price difference of 5.07 million KRW and a kimchi premium of 3.66%. Ethereum (ETH) saw a slightly higher premium at 3.68%, while other major altcoins also exhibited similar premiums: Solana (SOL), XRP (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB). The majority of top altcoins are currently trading with an average premium between 3.2% to 3.7%.
