Ethereum Foundation Plans AI Agent Commerce Revolution by 2026

The Ethereum Foundation unveiled a roadmap aiming to establish the blockchain network as the primary infrastructure for commerce between artificial intelligence (AI) agents by 2026. This plan focuses on implementing two new technical standards, ERC-8004 and x402, designed to facilitate autonomous AI interactions without relying on intermediaries.
