Bybit’s Lazarus Lab Reveals Hidden Fund-Freezing Functions in Major Blockchains

A new report from Bybit’s Lazarus Security Lab reveals that 16 major blockchain networks contain code enabling them to freeze or restrict user funds. The report, titled ‘Blockchain Freezing Exposed: Examining the Impact of Fund Freezing Ability in Blockchain’, is a large-scale analysis of how blockchains can intervene in transactions during security incidents like hacks and exploits.
