Senate Shutdown Vote Remains Pending Key Senator’s Return

The Senate is poised to vote on a resolution to end the ongoing government shutdown, but one crucial vote remains outstanding. According to BlockBeats, the ‘End Government Shutdown Plan’ requires just one more approval from Texas Senator John Cornyn. Senator Cornyn is currently traveling back to Washington D.C. from out of town after being delayed by disruptions caused by the government shutdown.
