CFTC Sets December 2025 Launch for Leveraged Crypto Trading

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is moving forward with the introduction of leveraged crypto trading, aiming to launch by December 2025. Led by Acting Chair Caroline D. Pham, this strategic shift would allow for Bitcoin and Ethereum trades to be conducted using leverage. This initiative is part of a broader effort to increase U.S. market competitiveness in the global cryptocurrency landscape.
